Wedding Questions
Planning a wedding may be a challenge , but asking wedding related questions might make one feel just plain
Dumb! Who needs corsages? Where does the mother of the bride sit? When should we cut the wedding cake?
What is the difference between a rose and a tulip? What is the difference between a hand tied bouquet and
a cascade? What side should the boutonniere be pinned on?
The questions could go on and on and on. We will try to tackle the most difficult questions and provide the
simplest solutions.
What side should the Bride walk down the aisle?
The left side always on the heart side. The Bride's family also sits on the left side and the Groom's family sits
on the right.

Royal Wedding Flowers
I couldn't sleep, some how I naturally woke up (with out the alarm) right on time -5:30a!
Wow, this was different. I watched as a young girl Diane walk, and walk down the aisle,so I had to watch the Princess Bride take her place in the spot light to assume her new role.
Wedding florist and wedding planners tried to guess at the dress, wedding flowers, and bouquet, however, no one got it right. Hand tied, cascade, teardrop bouquets are the ideas that I heard, but we never guessed
a loose bouquet. The wedding flowers selected we so full of meaning- sweet William( Prince William Duke of Cambridge), lily of the valley (happiness, you've made my life complete), hyacinth (constancy),and
myrtle (a royal tradition since the wedding of Queen Victoria)
Brides can adopt this new trend and use flowers as the language of love to help them express their feelings
and add that element of sentiment to their wedding.

Wedding Flowers
How much of my total budget should be spent on wedding flowers?
How much you actually spend depends on many different factors
such as: How important are flowers to you? Type of flowers you
choose? Are they in season? The size and the complexity of the
arrangements? You should plan on spending between 7% and 9%
on wedding flowers.
When should I book my florist?
Any where form 8-6 months prior to the wedding
Your choice in flowers effects the overall mood and
style of your wedding. The flowers and decor will effect the
small details of your wedding like the style of your invitations, programs, escort
cards, place cards and more. The flowers and design you select is like building a set for a
movie or a play, it effects the tone of the wedding.
How can I maximize my budget?
Re purpose your wedding flowers. Flowers can be used for the ceremony
and the reception. Look beyond blooms, use fresh fruit, feathers, candles to
add interest and reduce your budget. Decorate guest table centerpieces in
half tall arrangements and short.

How To Trim Your Budget
Platinum weddings are great for platinum wallets but, silver shines just as bright!
Fridays and Sundays are generally less expensive than Saturdays for renting a venue
Instead of a full bar serve a signature drink
Something Classic like Sinatra or Smooth like Bond
Re Purpose your flowers
Flower arrangements used at the ceremony can be used
again as centerpieces at the reception
