Transform Your Venue
You want the platinum look for less, but the pretty centerpieces aren't quite doing the trick of giving you that fairy tale look.Don't despair, try ceiling draping to give your venue that fairy tale look. Disguise your room with soft, airy, light fabrics that will transport you and your guests to a land of romance and mystery. Fabric can hide all the imperfections of the boring venue that lacks in WOW factor that you had your heart set on. Coupled with colored wall washes, you will feel that you have been whisked away to a fairy tale dream.

Floral Budget
- Mix It Up- Choose high and low centerpieces for contrast and depth
- Double Up- Let your flowers play double duty, reuse ceremony flowers again for the reception
- Be Flexible- Allow your florist to choose flowers that are in season
- Add Other Elements- use fruit, candles, feathers, vegetables to add variety and interest
- Use One Type of Flower- using one type of flower can save on your overall budget while adding drama and impact

What a beautiful day

What a busy wedding floral season we have had! During the down season, it gives us a time to reminisce on the past year weddings. The color purple reigned supreme. Purple has always brought to mind royalty, passion and Prince. My team and I loved being surrounded by the year's most popular color as it kept us in a good mood while cleaning and striping thousands of purple 'Cool Water' and 'Sterling' roses.
What a beautiful sunny day it was, when my girlfriend said, "I do". I was asked to design the wedding flowers as well as be a guest. After all the weddings I have been a part of, I still get excited when I receive an invitation in the mail. Before thinking about the type of flowers to be used and what type of centerpiece would look good, I think, oh no, what am I going to wear.
Darlene wore a beautiful chiffon a-line dress with sweetheart neckline, accented with lace trim. The bridesmaids wore aubergine, satin strapless dresses with silver embroiderey accented with rhinestones. The groom and his men wore classy dark suites with plum neckties. The flowers were designed in a variety of purples. Stock, roses specialty carnations, statice, light purple calla lilies, tulips all added to the beauty of the day. To be continued.......

Wedding Flowers on a Budget
- Mix it up. Use tall centerpieces for that WOW factor and scale down with beautiful candle only arrangements for the other half of the centerpieces.
- Designer's Choice. Ask your florist for the color that you want and let them pick the blooms
- Use one type of bloom. One type of bloom used throughout the wedding and reception will add drama
