Wedding Flowers

How much of my total budget should be spent on wedding flowers?

How much you actually spend depends on many different factors
such as: How important are flowers to you?  Type of flowers you
choose? Are they in season? The size and the complexity of the
arrangements? You should plan on spending between 7% and 9%
on wedding flowers.

When should I book my florist?

Any where form 8-6 months prior to the wedding
Your choice in flowers effects the overall mood and
style of your wedding. The flowers and decor will effect the
small details of your wedding like the style of your invitations, programs, escort
cards, place cards and more. The flowers and design you select is like building a set for a
movie or a play, it effects the tone of the wedding.

How can I maximize my budget?

Re purpose your wedding flowers. Flowers can be used for the ceremony
and the reception. Look beyond blooms, use fresh fruit, feathers, candles to
add interest and reduce your budget. Decorate guest table centerpieces in
 half tall arrangements and short.

How To Trim Your Budget

Platinum weddings are great for platinum wallets but, silver shines just as bright!

Fridays and Sundays are generally less expensive than Saturdays for renting a venue

Instead of a full bar serve a signature drink
Something Classic like Sinatra or Smooth like Bond

Re Purpose your flowers
Flower arrangements used at the ceremony can be used
again as centerpieces at the reception
